Actor Vikram Prabhu is in the position to prove his legacy as an actor, and as his last few movies only got mixed to average response, he has high hopes pinned on today’s release Veera Sivaji.

Continue reading our review to know whether the film is up to the expectation or not.

Plot:

Sivaji (Vikram Prabhu), a call taxi driver has a cute family of a sister and a niece (Though he is an orphan he considers them as his own family). With some happenings Sivaji falls in love with Anjali (Shamili) – and for the viewers the halftime runs away even without knowing what the film is about.

Later Sivaji comes to know that his niece is counting her days as she is already in a critical stage due to a tumor in brain. Now he needs 25 lakhs to operate and remove the tumor.

Later Robo Shankar and Yogi Babu introduces them to a gang which supplies 50 Lakh of fake currencies for mere 10 Lakh. Siviji sells his Innova car and goes to them, only to know that they are cheaters.

The rest of the film is all about how Sivaji brings back his money and saves the life of the little niece.

What’s hot and What is not:

Vikram Prabhu, though seven films old, tembles to impress us. Shamili once popular for her childhood roles, is back as a heroine, but she has not more than 15 minutes in the movie.

Robo Shankar and Yogi Babu are the ones who saved the movie. Their comedy as Ramesh-Suresh ( the same names popular by 5 Star ad.) frequently irks laughter in the theater.

Imman’s background score was impressive, but the songs were not – nothing stays in our mind. With a simple plot, the director has attempted to make a entertaining movie and has only partially succeeded.
